Things to do in Delta

Delta has several parks and natural areas worth visiting. Centennial Beach is a good spot for swimming and has a playground, while Deas Island Regional Park provides hiking, horseback-riding trails, fishing, and boating. Alaksen National Wildlife Area is home to migratory birds and has walking trails. Many of these parks, including Watershed Park and Diefenbaker Park, are dog-friendly.

Families have solid options. Big Splash Water Slide Park is a seasonal water park with slides, a kids' area, and a main pool. For indoor play, FlyO'Land Indoor Kids Play Centre and Wonderland Kids Indoor Play Center both cater to younger children. CipherX Surrey Delta has escape rooms, VR, and golf sims, which can work for older kids and teens.

Delta has several Indian restaurants. Happy Singh Street Eats serves Indian street snacks in a contemporary counter-serve setting, with outdoor seating and vegetarian options. Tasty Indian Bistro offers traditional dishes and tandoori items in a more upscale dining room with a patio. For vegetarian-focused meals, Jagga Sweets specializes in traditional veggie cuisine.

The main shopping destinations are Tsawwassen Mills, a large mall with about 200 fashion shops and outlets plus a food hall, and Tsawwassen Commons, a strip-mall with national retailers and eateries. Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall has retail stores, a food court, and a library. For specific stores, you'll find Lindt Chocolate Shop, GUESS Factory, and Marshalls in the area.

Cascades Casino Delta is the main nightlife spot, offering gambling and likely a bar. For a more relaxed evening, Strikers Lounge and Cue's N Cushion are options—Cue's N Cushion is a lounge bar that also serves coffee. Genesis Theatre hosts performing arts events and is noted as good for children, so it can work for family-friendly shows.
