Facility Alert: Temporary Closure for BC Hydro Infrastructure Upgrades

The Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex will be completely closed on Friday, September 30, 2026, due to essential BC Hydro infrastructure upgrades that will cut power to the building. Patrons are encouraged to visit the nearby Mundy Park Pool at 655 Hillcrest Street, which will remain open from 11:00 to 19:30 on the same day. The closure is a one‑day interruption, after which the complex will resume its full schedule of aquatic, ice and fitness programming.
